After posting about the LeMans stripe graphics for our company van earlier I’m sitting here bored and started wondering what I could find for Transit Connects online.
I found some entertaining PhotoShop work...
And I found out what M-SPORT (in the UK) does as a side business when they’re not building kick-@$$ rally cars.
I wonder if I can get my boss to sign off on importing that rear spoiler (lol).
Of course they started out with the full-size Transit van.
I’d say they’re keeping Van- tastic alive - !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

That Transit Connect is fantastic.

Oof, that M-Sport is fantastic.
I’ve thought about buying a Transit Connect as a little runabout. There was a guy who ran fifteen52 Tarmacs on his lowered Transit Connect, and at some point ran custom-built 17x8" steelies. It looked shockingly good:

*Pedant Alert*
That’s the Transit Custom, which is the Medium Sized in the transit family. Not sold in the USA.

Fuck it. I want to rally the Transit.

There’s actually someone rocking a slammed Transit around here. I’ll have to find pics, it looks incredible.
EDIT: Found it!

We’ve had 2 issues with our Connect, Searching for a larger set of wheels on the van as well as matching up the tires. Electing to stay with the 16x7 because there is a wide range of load ratings that just didn’t work well with our setup. Grey Sparco Terra Wheels w/ 215/55/16 Maxxis Victra Tires. Even after seeing the 16' 215's back on the van, I wish I had selected the 225's instead.

We’ve opted for the “rally look” on our van by selecting the 16 Sparco Terra wheels & Maxxis tires. But we’re not done yet. I’ve been researching http://www.fordcommercialgraphics.com/ site which allows one to add custom text, images and graphics.. One might see a few more colors on our otherwise stock white panel van and very soon.

can I see some pics?

Thanks for the interest, but I’ve reached a point where I’m not allowed to show any images of the graphics on the van until we’ve been given approval. But just as a for instance, research Abstraxi or rally cars, then transfer these types of images onto the stock white Transit Connect XL SWB cargo van. I hope to have something to show for our efforts and very soon. *Fingers Crossed*
Considering, at one point we wanted local or national artist to create their art on our van using Duplicolor’s spray wrap. Yes we even considered using the Duplicolor spray wrap on our van but in the “M-sport” stripe design. The artist original work would remain on the van for up t 1 year, pealed off then allow another artist to create his concept on the van. But the issue would be we didn’t want “street art” on the van to spark or influence violence.

Any older pics with just the wheels?

Image: Oct 2015 Right After having the Sparco 16's w/ Maxxis tires installed. Don’t get me wrong the van handles extremely better with the new wheels and tires.
Sorry to say, we don’t want the van stanced.. and I’m regretting the tires. Oh not the tire maker, but the size I selected.. we should have went 225's not 215's. But we’ll correct this in about 45K more mile.. :/

The wheels do look really good on the van though.

Very cool, have seen the pictures elsewhere online. The ‘Toaster’, right?
As a company delivery vehicle I’m sure we’ll stay with the stock sizes, but I was surprised to see the Michelin LTX listed.

Correct “Toaster” but wife asked that I get rid of that name.. if this is an issue, I’ll gladdy delete my comments seeing how I’m not allowed anywhere else. Apparently I’m not like other TC owners.. we have plans for the van, but it will take time to complete.

Thanks, but everyone knowns that we as humans wants things larger and better. I’ve searched for 17's 18's without luck. Oh found several that might work, but the tire’s load rated never matched up. I guess I could have thrown the load rating out the window just so I could get the wheels we wanted on the van.

BTW here was my other account (which I lost the login) image:
